So what happens next? This blog started as part of an assignment for a class, but it’s going to be so much more than that. This will be like a journal with every step of the process being logged and shared. I’ll try to make in interesting, not a lot of boring jargon, you know unless you’re into that kinda stuff. I’m going to be looking into finding textures and pictures to use in my game soon. I also have to make some more models so the game seems more alive and real. The controls are coming along pretty well! It;s kind of a hassle when I want to add something new. Usually I have to figure out how I want the new feature to work, then the code doesn’t work how I expect, or it disables some other piece of code by accident. It may take a long time and lots of googling but I can usually accomplish what I want, and that’s truly exciting! I also need some music too, but I’m thinking of asking a good friend of mine to help with that. The theme is definitely gonna be kinda techno music, upbeat and fast paced. And of course I have to animate all the models and such. Then finally I can see about publishing and sharing the game with my friends. I’ll probably start out giving free copies to all my friends to test the waters, giving out demos of the game as a marketing strategy. All in all, as big as this project is, it’s only a precursor for an even larger game I have in mind already. So sit back and enjoy the ride, it’s going to be a good journey 🙂

I’m so pleased you’re going to keep going with this. Very inspiring as well as educational. 🙂
